Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th May:

Echo-Woods Soundwalk

Part of the Eco-Vandalism Group Exhibition at Sydenham Hill Woods, Dulwich.

Echo-Woods is an artist-led audio tour of Sydenham Hill Woods, created by Sara Heitlinger.
Listening to a portable audio player, a woman’s voice directs you around the woods. You become part of her story, while she plays tricks on you, and challenges your perceptions of time and space.

The woods are not the tranquil place you expect them to be....

From Friday the 12th of May you can download the audio to your personal MP3 Player.

You can also pick up a CD player from the woods on the day.

Eco Vandalism

is an exhibition of contemporary art taking place over the weekend of the 13th & 14th of May 2006 within the beautiful setting of Sydenham Hill Wood. The exhibition is a free event and will coincide with the Dulwich Festival.

The woods will be host to a diverse range of works by 20 artists from across the UK. Artists have been invited to respond to the theme of eco vandalism in order to produce original, thought provoking work reflecting what is both a local and a global issue.
